Sync your filament inventory from the terminal
The spoolsync package runs the same matching, planning, and export engine as the web app, so you can reconcile Spoolman, Spoolio, TigerTag and more from scripts and scheduled jobs.

SpoolSync started as a browser app: export your inventory from each tool, load the files, review the matches, and write the changes back. The same engine now ships as an npm package, spoolsync, built for terminals, scripts, and scheduled jobs.
Install
npm install --global spoolsync
spoolsync --help
Requirements
It needs Node.js 20 or newer.
Preview before you write
By default the CLI only prints a plan. Point it at an export from each tool:
spoolsync --spoolman spoolman.json --spoolstock spoolstock.csv --spoolio spoolio.json
You get a summary of updates, creates, unresolved field conflicts, and match suggestions you can accept with --confirm or decline with --reject.
Write the result
Add --output-dir to generate updated import files for every writable source, or --apply with --spoolman-url to update Spoolman directly over the network. Everything is staged before anything is written, and output paths that would overwrite an input file are rejected.
spoolsync --spoolman spoolman.json --spoolstock spoolstock.csv --spoolio spoolio.json \
--resolve material=spoolstock --create-in spoolio --output-dir ./updated
Start a new inventory
Need a brand-new target? --empty starts a blank inventory so you can copy spools into it:
spoolsync --spoolio spoolio.json --empty filameter --create-in filameter --output-dir ./updated
